Raleigh, N.C., Jan. 14, 2026 — Isabelle’s Kitchen, Inc., of Harleysville, Pa., has recalled 946 cases of refrigerated deli salads because they may be contaminated with Salmonella, a bacterium that can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, the elderly and people with weakened immune systems. Consumers should not eat these products and should stop using them immediately.
The recalled products include salads sold under the brand names Isabelle’s Kitchen, Maple Avenue Foods and Kings with the following item numbers and lot code(s): Item #4605 Kings Greek Pasta Salad (Julian code 134); Item #5002B IKI Greek Pasta Salad (Julian codes 134 and 135); Item #5007B MAF Mediterranean Pasta Salad (Julian code 134); Item #8015B MAF Crunchy Wheatberry Salad (Julian code 134); Item #8031 MAF Quinoa Tabouli (Julian codes 134 and 135); and Item #8103KT Powerhouse Wheatberry Salad Kit (Julian codes 134, 135 and 136). These refrigerated deli salads have been sold since May 14, 2025 online and at select U.S. retailers and were distributed to foodservice distributors and supermarkets in New Hampshire, Florida, Maryland, South Carolina, New Jersey, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Virginia.
Consumers who have purchased the recalled products are urged to discard any uneaten portions or return the product to the place of purchase for a refund; alternatively follow retailer instructions for disposal. Distributors and retailers have been instructed to cease distribution, remove and destroy affected product.
