Hearn Kirkwood Issues Safety Alert on Undeclared Soy and Milk in Various Croissant Sandwiches

Raleigh, N.C., Jan. 14, 2026 — Hearn Kirkwood is voluntarily recalling 5,895 clamshell containers of various croissant sandwich products because labels failed to disclose the presence of soy and milk, creating a risk of serious or life‑threatening allergic reactions for consumers with sensitivities. Consumers who have these allergies should not eat the products and should stop using them immediately.

The recalled products include multiple branded croissant sandwiches with use‑by dates/lots from 10/27/2023 through 11/8/2023; affected brand and item descriptions include Food Unlimited Bacon Egg & Cheddar Croissant (UPC 766375253051), Jack & Olive Le Croissant: Chicken Salad (UPC 766375795018), Sprig & Sprout Le Croissant: Chicken Salad (UPC 766375797128), and various Food Unlimited Le Croissant items including Chicken Salad, Ham & Swiss, Tuna Salad and Turkey & Cheddar (UPCs 766375261599, 766375261612, 766375261605, 766375261629) with lot code(s) indicated by the use‑by date range above. These products have been sold online and at select U.S. retailers and have been sold since Oct. 20, 2023, through Nov. 3, 2023, in multiple states including Alabama, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Maryland, Michigan, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Virginia, West Virginia and Washington, D.C.

Consumers should discard or return the product to the place of purchase for a refund or replacement; if unsure, keep packaging and lot/use‑by information for verification.
