Raleigh, N.C., Jan. 14, 2026 — Baron Spices, Inc. of St. Louis has recalled 708 units of Blues Hog Sweet and Savory Seasoning because the product may contain undeclared soy and wheat, posing a risk of serious or life‑threatening allergic reactions to consumers with soy or wheat allergies. Consumers who have these allergies or severe sensitivities should stop using the seasoning immediately and not eat it.
The recalled product is Blues Hog Sweet and Savory Seasoning in 6.25‑ounce plastic bottles with lot code(s) 034-363 and 034-364. The seasoning has been sold online and at select U.S. retailers, including Giant Food stores in Maryland, Virginia, the District of Columbia and Delaware, and has been sold since Sept. 15, 2025. No illnesses have been confirmed to date.
