Raleigh, N.C., April 28, 2025 — Trader Joe’s has voluntarily recalled a limited quantity of Trader Joe’s Sesame Miso Salad with Salmon because a topping packet in some units may contain undeclared milk (parmesan cheese crumbles), posing a risk to people with milk allergies or sensitivities; consumers who have milk allergies should stop using the product immediately and not eat it. To date, no adverse reactions have been reported.
The recall applies to Trader Joe’s Sesame Miso Salad with Salmon 10.25 oz bearing lot code(s) and UPC 00773164 with Use By dates of April 28, 2025 and April 29, 2025; approximately 500 units produced by Taylor Fresh Foods Illinois have been affected. The salads have been sold online and at select U.S. retailers and were distributed to Trader Joe’s stores in AL, IA, IL, IN, KS, KY, MI, MN, MO, NC, NE, NJ, NY, OH, PA, SC, TN and WI and have been sold since April 28, 2025.
Consumers who purchased the recalled salads are urged to discard or return the product to the place of purchase for a refund or replacement; keep packaging or receipts if available.
