Raleigh, N.C., Jan. 14, 2026 — EUNHA FISHERIES CO., LTD. is recalling sliced Korean halibut and flounder sashimi products because the individual soy sauce and vinegar red pepper paste packets contain undeclared wheat, soy and sesame, posing a risk of serious or life‑threatening allergic reactions. Consumers with allergies or severe sensitivities to wheat, soy, or sesame should stop using these products immediately and not eat them.
The affected items include Sliced Korean Halibut with Soy Sauce, Wasabi, Vinegar Chili Paste (lot code(s): Best Before 2026.05.07, UPC 6 78108 16991 4; and Best Before 2026.07.11 and 2026.12.08, EAN‑13 8 809342 366186) and Flounder Sashimi with Sauce. Packages are fish‑shaped plastic trays with paper sleeves containing soy sauce, vinegar red pepper paste and wasabi; the condiments lack English allergen declaration on the individual packets. Products have been sold online and at select U.S. retailers through WOOLTARI USA Inc., JAYONE FOODS, Inc., direct delivery and wooltariusa.com and have been sold since Sept. 15, 2025 (consumers should check purchase dates and packaging for the listed lot code(s)).
Consumers who purchased the recalled products and have an allergy or sensitivity to wheat, soy or sesame should discard the products or return them to the place of purchase for a refund or replacement.
