Raleigh, N.C., Jan. 14, 2026 — Sprouts Farmers Market has recalled select lots of Smoked Mozzarella Pasta Salad because the product may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes, a pathogen that can cause severe or fatal infections in young children, older adults, pregnant women and people with weakened immune systems. Consumers are urged not to eat the recalled pasta salad and to stop using it immediately; anyone who feels ill after consuming the product should seek medical attention.
The recall covers Smoked Mozzarella Pasta Salad packaged in plastic containers and sold from the deli service counter or Grab & Go section, with lot code(s) corresponding to Grab & Go UPC 2-15786-00000 and Service Case UPC 2-15587-00000 and Use‑By dates from Oct. 10, 2025, through Oct. 29, 2025. The product has been sold online and at select U.S. retailers and Sprouts stores in AL, AZ, CA, CO, DE, FL, GA, KS, LA, MD, MO, NC, NJ, NM, NV, OK, PA, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA and WY, and have been sold since Aug. 31, 2025, through Oct. 7, 2025. No illnesses have been reported to date; the action follows notification from supplier Fresh Creative Foods about potential contamination of the pasta ingredient manufactured by Nate’s Fine Foods.
Customers who purchased the listed product should dispose of it or return it to any Sprouts store for a full refund, and are advised to thoroughly clean and sanitize any surfaces or containers that contacted the product to prevent cross‑contamination.
