Recall Details
Rochester, N.Y., Jan. 14, 2026 — Juniper Granola, LLC. has recalled select Chocolate Cherry and Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Junebars because they may contain undeclared milk and soy, posing a risk of serious or life‑threatening allergic reaction to people with milk or soy allergies. Consumers who have these bars should stop using them immediately and not eat the product.
The recall covers Chocolate Cherry and Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Junebars with lot code(s) L1300, L1300A, L1300B and L1301A. The affected bars have been sold in New York State through grocery retailers and via direct deliveries from the company website in January 2026. Impacted products can be identified by the lot code printed on the back of the bar pouch near the bottom.
Juniper Granola says the contamination resulted from an oversight in sourcing that allowed non‑vegan chocolate chips containing milk and soy into production; the company initiated the recall after receiving a report of an allergic reaction. Consumers should return recalled bars to the place of purchase for a full refund or dispose of them and may request a refund or replacement by contacting the company at 315‑226‑3339 or by email at [email protected]. If you are unsure whether your product is affected, check the lot code on the package or contact the company for guidance.
