Raleigh, N.C., Jan. 14, 2026 — Wismettac Asian Foods, Inc. has expanded a recall of 2.46 oz Shirakiku Curvee Puffs corn puff snacks to include three flavors after discovering the products contain undeclared milk, posing a risk of serious or life‑threatening allergic reactions to people with milk allergy or severe sensitivity. Consumers who have these products should stop using them immediately and not eat them.
The recall covers 2.46 oz flexible bags of Curvee Puffs in Curry Flavor, Sea Salt & Umami Flavor, and Corn Potage Flavor, affecting all lot code(s). Product item numbers and UPCs include #78512 (SNACK CURVEE PUFF CURRY SK, UPC 074410785123), #65155 (SNACK CURVEE PUFFS SEA SALT & UMAMI SK, UPC 074410651558) and #65156 (SNACK CURVEE PUFFS CORN POTAGE SK, UPC 074410651565). The products have been sold online and at select U.S. retailers and restaurants nationwide and were also exported to Mexico and Peru; they have been sold since Sept. 15, 2025, with the last distribution on Jan. 10, 2025.
Consumers should return the product to the place of purchase for a full refund or dispose of it according to local waste guidelines; those seeking a replacement or refund may request one from the retailer.
