SKS Copack Recalls Various Specialty Beverages Because of Possible Health Risk

Raleigh, N.C., Jan. 14, 2026 — SKS Copack of Cerritos, Calif., has recalled multiple specialty beverage and mix products because they may be contaminated with Salmonella, a pathogen that can cause fever, diarrhea, vomiting and, in severe cases, bloodstream infections. Consumers should stop using the listed products immediately and not consume them; those who have symptoms after consuming these products should seek medical attention and tell their provider about possible Salmonella exposure.

The recalled items include Angel Specialty Products MATCHA GREEN TEA (lot code(s) 20260224, 20260424), TARO (20260224), CARAMEL LATTE (20260414), COCONUT (20260415), HORCHATA (20260414, 20260424), VANILLA SMOOTHIE BASE (20260413), WHITE CHOCOLATE (20260327), MILK TEA (20260224), STRAWBERRY SOFT SRV (20260414); Royal Gold DUTCH MOCHA CAPP (20260303) and FRENCH VANILLA CAPP (20260416); Boba Time ITALIAN YOGURT PWDR (20260216), COCONUT POWDER (20260428), PISTACHIO POWDER (20260219); FANALE UBE-TARO (20260223); DENDA MILK ICE CREAM MX (20260403); and other branded items listed with their lot code(s) and best-by dates. These products have been distributed through cafes, restaurants, and direct delivery online and at select U.S. retailers in CA, UT, ID, NY, NJ, AZ, PA, NC, TX, OH, LA, GA, FL, IL, OK, MA, WA, OR, WI, NV, VA, CT, TN, KY and MN and have been sold since Sept. 15, 2025. Affected products are identified by lot codes stamped on the back of the package.

SKS Copack says it has ceased distribution, quarantined the remaining ingredient lot and is cooperating with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration; no illnesses have been reported to date. Consumers should return affected items to the place of purchase for a full refund or follow retailer instructions for disposal; those seeking compensation may request a refund or replacement.
