Raleigh, N.C., Jan. 14, 2026 — World Market has recalled Emek Spread Pistachio Cacao Cream with Kadayif, 9.7 oz, lot code(s) BATCH NO: 250401, due to potential Salmonella contamination that may cause fever, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting and more serious infections in vulnerable individuals; consumers should not eat the product and should stop using it immediately.
The affected product has a Best Before date of April 01, 2027 and UPC 8 69652 10130 1; lot code(s): 250401. The jars have the date code etched on the lid and were distributed between June 11 and July 9, 2025. The product have been sold online and at select U.S. retailers, primarily World Market stores across many states including AL, AZ, CA, CO, CT, FL, GA, IA, IL, IN, KS, KY, LA, MA, MD, MI, MN, MO, NC, NE, NH, NJ, OH, OK, PA, SC, SD, TN, TX, VA, WA and WI.
