Raleigh, N.C., Jan. 14, 2026 — Lil’ Turtles has recalled all lots of Grandma Belle’s Tomato Basil Soup, 17 oz glass jars, because the label fails to declare milk as an ingredient, posing a risk of serious allergic reaction to people with milk allergy or severe milk sensitivity; consumers who have the product should stop using it immediately and not eat it. The issue was identified during a routine inspection by the Ohio Department of Agriculture; there have been no reports of illness to date.
The recalled product is Grandma Belle’s Tomato Basil Soup (packaged in 17 oz glass jars), lot code(s): all lots. Products have been sold since Sept. 23, 2022, online and at select U.S. retailers, including stores in Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York, Kentucky, Minnesota, Utah, Oklahoma, Kansas, Mississippi, Illinois, Indiana, Missouri, Wisconsin and Iowa (for example: Baltic Meats, Trailside Deli, Randles Cheese, Jungle Jim, Creekside Pantry and Golden Delight Bakery). Consumers should check jar labels and purchase records to confirm whether they have an affected jar.
Consumers with the product may dispose of it or return it to the place of purchase for a refund or replacement; those with milk allergy or sensitivity who purchased the affected product are urged to request a replacement pack.
