Raleigh, N.C., Jan. 14, 2026 — Ray & Mascari Inc. of Indianapolis, Indiana, has recalled 4 Count Vine Ripe Tomatoes packaged in plastic clamshells because they may be contaminated with Salmonella, which can cause fever, diarrhea, nausea and more severe infections in vulnerable people. Consumers should stop using and not eat the recalled tomatoes immediately and dispose of or return them for a refund or replacement.
The recalled product is sold as 20 oz. (1 lb. 4 oz./567 g) 4 Count Vine Ripe Tomatoes with UPC# 7 96553 20062 1; the master case label bears lot code(s) RM250424 15250B or RM250427 15250B. These products have been sold online and at select U.S. retailers, including Gordon Food Service Stores, in Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Missouri, Mississippi, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee and Wisconsin, and have been sold since Sept. 15, 2025.
Customers who purchased the affected 4 Count Vine Ripe Tomatoes should dispose of them or return them to the place of purchase for a refund or replacement; do not consume.
