Recall Details
Raleigh, N.C., Jan. 14, 2026 — Williams Farms Repack LLC has recalled multiple tomato products due to possible Salmonella contamination that can cause fever, diarrhea, nausea and, in severe cases, bloodstream infections; consumers should not eat these products and should stop using them immediately. The recall follows notification on April 29, 2025 that tomatoes supplied from H&C Farms may be contaminated. No illnesses have been reported to date.
The affected items include tomatoes sold under Williams Farms Repack and H&C Farms labels with the following lot code(s): 5x6 25lb (R4467); 6x6 25lb (R4467, R4470); Combo 25lb (R4467); 4x4 2layer (R4467); 4x5 2layer (R4467); 60ct 2layer (R4467); 60ct 18lb loose (R4467, R4470); XL 18lb loose (R4467); and 3ct trays (UPC 0 33383 65504 8, lot code R4467). The products have been sold since April 23, 2025 and were distributed online and at select U.S. retailers, as well as to wholesalers and distributors in Georgia, North Carolina and South Carolina between April 23 and April 28, 2025.
Consumers who purchased any of the listed lot code(s) are urged to return the product to the place of purchase for a full refund or to discard it; those seeking a refund or replacement can contact Williams Farms Repack for assistance.
