Albertsons Companies Stores in Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma and Texas Voluntarily Recalls Select Items Containing Tuna Salad from Reser’s Fine Foods Due to an Ingredient Recall Linked to Possible Listeria Monocytogenes Contamination

Raleigh, N.C., Jan. 14, 2026 — Albertsons Companies is voluntarily recalling select ready-to-eat tuna salad items sold under its store banners after Reser’s Fine Foods initiated a recall for possible Listeria monocytogenes contamination in breadcrumbs used in the product. The contamination can cause serious or fatal infections in young children, elderly or immunocompromised people and can cause miscarriage in pregnant women. Consumers who purchased the listed tuna salad products should not eat them and should stop using them immediately.

The recalled items include multiple prepared tuna salad products and trays with the following lot code(s) and sell‑through dates: RM DUO TUNA SALAD W/CRACKER S (lot code(s) sell thru Jul 17–19, 2025), RM SALAD TUNA PREMIUM SS (lot code(s) sell thru Jul 17–19, 2025), RM SNACKER TRAY TUNA SALAD (lot code(s) sell thru Jul 17–19, 2025), RM SNDWCH TUNA SALAD CROISSANT SS COLD (lot code(s) sell thru Jul 16–18, 2025), RM TUNA SALAD OVER BED OF LETTUCE SS (lot code(s) sell thru Jul 16–18, 2025), SALAD TUNA PREMIUM (lot code(s) sell thru Jul 17–19, 2025), and assorted croissant and tray salads (lot code(s) sell thru Jul 16–18, 2025). These products have been sold since July 16, 2025 online and at Albertsons, Randalls and Tom Thumb stores in Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma and Texas.

Consumers should dispose of the products or return them to the place of purchase for a full refund and may request a refund or replacement from the retailer. Anyone who purchased or received these items should clean and sanitize any surfaces, containers and refrigeration units that may have contacted the product to reduce cross‑contamination risk.
