Brooklyn, N.Y., Jan. 14, 2026 — Van Leeuwen Ice Cream has voluntarily recalled its Vegan Pumpkin Cinnamon Roll 14‑oz pints, lot code(s) 24V094, because they contain an undeclared peanut allergen that poses a risk of serious or life‑threatening allergic reaction; consumers who have peanut allergy or severe sensitivity should stop using the product immediately and do not eat it. The company reports one adverse reaction to date and says the issue resulted from a mock case sample that accidentally entered the distribution channel.
The recall is limited to 4 pints remaining in distribution of Vegan Pumpkin Cinnamon Roll, lot code(s) 24V094 (UPC 850005872375), best by April 3, 2026, sold in 14‑ounce containers. These pints have been sold since Sept. 15, 2025 online and at select U.S. retailers, with the affected units originally distributed from Van Leeuwen’s Brooklyn, N.Y. location (81 Bergen Street). No other lot numbers or flavors are included in this recall.
