4Earth Farms, LLC. Recalls Organic and Conventional Vegetable Medleys and Organic Whole Carrots, Containing Grimmway Farms Carrots, Because of Possible Health Risk

Raleigh, N.C., Jan. 14, 2026 — 4Earth Farms of Commerce, California, has recalled multiple packaged vegetable products including Organic Vegetable Medley, Conventional Vegetable Medley, and Organic Whole Carrots because they may be contaminated with Shiga toxin–producing Escherichia coli (E. coli) O121:H19. The core risk is severe foodborne illness that can cause bloody diarrhea, hemolytic uremic syndrome, and long‑term kidney or neurological complications, particularly in young children, the elderly and immunocompromised persons. Consumers should stop using the products immediately and not eat them.

The recalled items can be identified by Best by dates of Sept. 7, 2024 through Nov. 2, 2024 and include multiple brands and UPCs; affected products and lot code(s) include Organic Vegetable Medley (Wild Harvest, UPC 711535517733), Organic Vegetable Medley (Marketside, UPC 681131179461), Vegetable Medley (Marketside, UPC 681131457378 and UPC 681131328791), Stir Fry Medley (Marketside, UPC 681131457460), Organic Vegetable Medley (4Earth Farms, UPC 803944306999 and UPC 803944307064), Organic Whole Carrots (Grimmway, 1 lb), and other lot code(s) provided to retailers. These products have been sold online and at select U.S. retailers and distributors — including Walmart, UNFI, Albert’s Organics, O.K. Produce, Kennedy Produce, Sprouts and regional farmers markets — and have been sold since Sept. 7, 2024.

Consumers who still have recalled product in their homes are urged to dispose of it or return it to the place of purchase for a refund or replacement and to clean and sanitize any surfaces that contacted the product; do not consume.
