Recall Details
Raleigh, N.C., Jan. 14, 2026 — Doan’s Bakery of Woodland Hills, Calif., has recalled two bundt cake varieties because they may contain undeclared wheat and milk, posing a risk of serious or life‑threatening allergic reactions for people with allergies or severe sensitivities; consumers with wheat or milk allergies should not eat these products and should stop using them immediately. The recall was initiated after a routine facility inspection found labeling deficiencies, and Doan’s Bakery has taken corrective action and implemented updated labels on the affected products.
The affected items are White Chocolate Coconut Bundt Cake and Carrot Bundt Cake; corresponding lot code(s) are listed by the bakery and consumers should check product packaging and purchase records for exact codes. The cakes were sold by Doan’s Bakery and distributed nationwide via mail order on Goldbelly (online and at select U.S. retailers) and have been sold since June 1, 2025 through Sept. 24, 2025.
Consumers who purchased the recalled bundt cakes should dispose of or return them for a refund or replacement and are advised to contact Customer Support at [email protected] for immediate assistance; customers may also call 1‑888‑675‑6892 between 9 a.m. and 8 p.m. EST for questions or to request a refund or replacement. If you have severe allergic symptoms after exposure, seek medical attention right away. For lot code details or additional guidance, check the bakery’s recall notice or contact the company directly.
