Raleigh, N.C., Jan. 14, 2026 — Dairyland Produce, LLC, doing business as Hardie’s Fresh Foods of Houston and Dallas, has recalled CUCUMBER SELECT 6 CT because the cucumbers may be contaminated with Salmonella, a pathogen that can cause fever, diarrhea, vomiting and, in vulnerable people, serious or fatal infections. Consumers should not eat the product and should stop using it immediately; those who have eaten the cucumbers and develop symptoms should seek medical attention.
The recall covers CUCUMBER SELECT 6 CT packaged in clear plastic bags and labeled with the following lot code(s): X2377074, X2379602, X2381000, X2381080, X2383400, X2384557 and X2384587. These cucumbers were repacked by Hardie’s Fresh Foods and have been sold online and at select U.S. retailers, including Costco locations in Houston, Texas, and Dallas, Texas, and have been sold since Sept. 15, 2025. No other lot codes are included in this recall and no illnesses linked specifically to these lot codes have been reported to date.
Consumers who purchased the recalled cucumbers should dispose of them or return them to the place of purchase for a full refund, or request a replacement if available. Hardie’s Fresh Foods has ceased production and distribution of the product.
