Raleigh, N.C., June 15, 2026 — Nara Organics of New York has voluntarily recalled all lots of Nara Organics Powdered Infant Formula sold in the U.S. because of a potential risk of Clostridium botulinum contamination linked to three reported cases of infant botulism. Consumers are urged to stop using the product immediately and seek medical attention if an infant shows symptoms such as constipation, poor feeding, drooping eyelids, weak cry, generalized weakness or respiratory difficulty.
The recall covers Nara Organics Whole Milk Infant Formula in 700g (UPC 860013251901) and 400g (UPC 860013251918) cans, with all lots currently on the market included; lot code(s) include, but are not limited to, 408125075E14F2, 708125076E14F2, 708125083E14F2, 408125139E14F2, 708125141E14F2, 708125145E14F2, 708125174E14F2, 709125273E14F2, 709125280E14F2, 709125288E14F2, 409125307E14F2, 70926019ENNB, 70926029ENNB, 70926035ENNB, 70926039ENNB and 70926042ENNB. The product has been distributed nationally online and at Target retail stores and Target.com and Nara.com and have been sold since July 2025 through June 2026; Nara formula is not distributed outside the USA.
Consumers with unused product may dispose of it or request a refund or replacement; Nara will automatically refund purchases made on Nara.com in May and June 2026, and other customers may request a refund by photographing the lot code on the bottom of each can and submitting the company refund form at https://nara.com/pages/refund-request-form, or by returning product to Target per Target’s return policy.
