Moonlight Companies Voluntarily Recalls California-Grown Conventional Yellow and White Peaches Because of Possible Health Risk- Revised to Clarify Upc Codes; This Recall Has Not Been Expanded

Raleigh, N.C., Nov. 8, 2025 — Moonlight Companies has voluntarily recalled California‑grown conventional yellow and white peaches because they may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes, a bacterium that can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, older adults, pregnant people and others with weakened immune systems; healthy individuals may experience fever, headache, stiffness, nausea, abdominal pain and diarrhea. Consumers who have these peaches should not eat them and should stop using them immediately.

The recalled products include Moonlight Yellow Peaches and Moonlight White Peaches (including the “Peppermint Peach” variety) sold as individual pieces with PLU stickers 4401 or 4044 and in multi‑pack packaging bearing multiple UPCs and lot code(s) such as 01PCLC, 03PCAF, 106PCLF, 113PCAF, 113PCLF, 129PCLF and many others listed by the company; specific UPCs reported include 8 10248 03165 6, 8 98429 00209 1, 8 98429 00220 6, 8 10248 03163 2, 8 10248 03087 1, 8 10248 03186 1 and Kroger multi‑pack UPC 0 11110 18174 9. The peaches have been sold online and at select U.S. retailers nationwide and have been sold since Sept. 16, 2025 through Oct. 29, 2025; packages or PLU stickers marked “Washington” or “Organic” are not included in this recall.

Consumers should dispose of or return the recalled peaches to the place of purchase for a refund or request a replacement from the retailer; keep packaging and proof of purchase if available.
