Recall Details
Raleigh, N.C., Jan. 14, 2026 — Yummy Foods of Edison, N.J., has recalled its Yummy Swirly Ices frozen novelty line because the products may contain traces of milk, posing a risk of serious or life‑threatening allergic reactions to consumers with milk allergies or severe sensitivities; consumers who are allergic or sensitive to milk should stop using these products immediately and not eat them. The company says the recall was prompted after an allergen‑sensitive consumer reported discomfort following consumption, and that the root cause of the possible cross‑contamination is under investigation.
The recalled items include Swirly Tropical Melon, Swirly Berry Blast, Swirly Tropical Tornado, Swirly Churning Cherry and Swirly Variety Pack; lot code(s) 68/2 and 69/1 and expiration dates 5/28/2026 and 5/30/2026 are identified, although the company is recalling the entire Swirly Ices line regardless of lot code(s). The products have been sold since Sept. 15, 2025 online and at select U.S. retailers, including independent kosher supermarkets and retail supermarkets in New York, New Jersey, Maryland, Ohio, Illinois (Chicago), Florida and California, and are packaged in printed boxes with the Yummy logo and stocked in freezer aisles.
Consumers with the product should not consume it and may return it to the original point of purchase for a full refund or dispose of it safely; consumers seeking a replacement or refund should contact Yummy Foods for instructions. For questions or to report an adverse reaction, email [email protected]. If you require additional information, check the company’s website or contact the retailer where the product was purchased.
