According to an experiment conducted in 2015, the ACV/lemon juice mixture can decrease salmonella to undetectable levels. But even if you drip ACV on your salad, you still have to use common sense. If you dip raw chicken in your spinach, the vinegar won't save you from the diarrhea that's coming.
