Dark Chocolate
Research results on dark chocolate and weight loss are mixed due to the high level of sugar content of most dark chocolate (1). However, it does not change the rich fat contained in dark chocolate (which keeps you full for longer, remember?). In fact, eating dark chocolate before meals also helps reduce appetite due to fatty content. Its bittersweet taste may also reduce sugar craving. Dark chocolate also has numerous health benefits, including cardiovascular benefits and lower risks of diabetes. Read Reasons to Indulge in Dark Chocolate for more information.
