The Plate Method is a simple visualization to help you create a nutritionally balanced meal on a plate. However, we are not saying that you should always follow portions recommended in the Plate Method and feel guilty about not doing so for several meals. Remember: Healthy eating is a lifestyle, and enjoy occasional indulgences. Note that besides the following three portions of a plate, we should also consume a healthy amount of fat.
