1/2 of Your Plate

Half of your plate should consist of non-starchy vegetables and fruits. According to the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, you should consume colorful and various plants because they are abundant in vitamins, minerals, fiber, antioxidants, etc. (1) You should also aim for slightly more veggies than fruits: about 3-4 servings of fruit and 4-6 servings of vegetables daily.
