Diet Sodas often carry labels as zero-fat, thus are frequently considered a perfect alternative to sugary sodas. Unfortunately, it is still not a safe option. Regular consumption of sodas, no matter if it's sugary or diet, has been proven to increase the risk of getting heart diseases and diabetes. A study from the Publican of Medicine also links the intake of these artificially-sweetened drinks to increased blood pressure. So, it's better to stay away from these sugar-coated bombs!
